Summary: Syftet med förstudien är att undersöka hur VR kan nyttiggöras i maritim säkerhetsträning, både ur ett inlärningsperspektiv och ur ett organisatoriskt perspektiv. Det omfattar att: - Välja och kravställa ett antal möjliga träningscase – centrala träningsmoment och realistiska inslag - Klarlägga vilka aspekter av VR-träning som påverkar graden av inlärning och överförbarhet till verkligheten - Beskriva kriterier för implementering – Möjliga målgrupper, hur tekniken kan inlemmas i existerande träning, vilka krav tekniken ställer på slutanvändaren (t.ex. rederi) och hur tekniken kan tillgängliggöras. -Dimensionera ett större projekt (teknisk utveckling, tidsåtgång och kostnader). Målet med projektet är att presentera tekniska, ekonomiska och organisatoriska underlag som krävs för fördjupade forsknings- och utvecklingsstudier. Projektet omfattar ingen teknisk utveckling.Summary: The purpose of the pre-study is to explore how VR can be utilized in maritime safety training, both from a learning perspective and an organizational perspective. This includes: - Selecting and specifying requirements for a number of potential training cases – focusing on key training elements and realistic scenarios. - Clarifying which aspects of VR training affect the level of learning and the transferability to real-world situations. - Describing criteria for implementation – identifying potential target groups, how the technology can be integrated into existing training programs, the requirements the technology places on the end-user (e.g., shipping companies), and how the technology can be made accessible. - Scoping a larger project (technical development, time requirements, and costs). The goal of the project is to present the technical, economic, and organizational foundations required for more in-depth research and development studies. The project does not include any technical development.
