Subject(s): Summary: Doktorandprojektet syftar till att ta ett helhetsgrepp av skärmbaserade verktyg inom det svenska förarprovssystemet. Genom att sammanställa och utvärdera data från kunskapsprovet där nedan beskrivna filmklipp används, ökas kunskapen kring utfallet av av provet. Samtidigt kan den kunskapen användas för att utveckla screeningtestet i körsimulator. Vidare kommer, utifrån ett kognitionsvetenskapligt designperspektiv, effekterna av de skärmbaserade verktygen att undersökas på dels körkortstagarens upplevelser genom körkortsprocessen, dels på själva förarutbildningssystemet. Målet med projektet är att öka kunskapen om hur vi kan utveckla förarprovet för att säkerställa att de förare som blir godkända på provet har tillräcklig kunskap för att vara säkra förare.Summary: The PhD project aims to take a holistic approach to screen-based tools within the Swedish driving test system. By compiling and evaluating data from the knowledge test where the film clips described below are used, knowledge about the outcome of the test is increased. At the same time, this knowledge can be used to develop the screening test in a driving simulator. Furthermore, from a cognitive science design perspective, the effects of the screen-based tools will be investigated on the driver's license holder's experiences through the driving license process and on the driver education system itself. The goal of the project is to increase knowledge about how we can develop the driving test to ensure that the drivers who pass the test have sufficient knowledge to be safe drivers.
