Subject(s): Online resources: Abstract: Kunskap om tidigare åtgärder inom väg-, flyg- och järnvägssystemen finns dold i arkivmaterial och historiska samlingar som i dag förvaras på olika platser och som ännu inte är sökbara. Denna förstudie vill undersöka hur de historiska materialen kan användas i dagens verksamhet inom Trafikverket och i forskning med anknytning till infrastruktur. Målet med projektet är att genom nya metoder möjliggöra att de väg, flyg- och järnvägshistoriska samlingarna blir till nytta i Trafikverkets verksamhet och i forskning.Abstract: Knowledge of historical infrastructure and previous measures concerning road networks and transport, aviation and railway systems is hidden in archive material and historical collections. These collections are presently stored in different localities, they are only partly organized and insufficiently searchable. This feasibility study will investigate how the historical materials can be used in current operations within the Swedish Transport Administration and in research related to infrastructure. The aim of the project is to make the historical collections concerning roads, aviation and railways useful in the Swedish Transport Administration's operations and in research by applying new methods.
