Abstract: Projektet ska pröva hur data från Waze via Waze Connected Citizens Program kan användas inom Trafikverket. Projektet omfattar dels utveckling av en pilot för användning inom Trafik Stockholm. Dessutom kommer projektet ta fram en rapport som undersöker konsekvenserna av ett sådant samarbete samt en plan för fortsatt arbete framåt. Syftet med projektet är att utvärdera om data från en extern aktör (som i detta projekt är Waze) har potential att skapa ett värde för Trafikverkets verksamhet samt vilka konsekvenser en sådan användning skulle få. Även möjliga samarbetsformer för att nå ut med trafikinformation kommer att belysas.Abstract: The project will explore how data from Waze via the Waze Connected Citizens Program can be used within the Swedish Transport Administration. The project will encompass the development of a pilot within Traffic Stockholm. In addition, the project will compile a report that investigates the consequences of such a cooperation as well as a road map for the work ahead. The purpose of the project is to evaluate whether data from an external actor (in this case Waze) have the potential to create value for the Swedish Transport Administration as well as shed light on the consequences of such usage. Also possible forms of cooperation for publishing traffic information will be highlighted.
