Abstract: Studien syftar till att beskriva teori med koppling till området verksamhetsanpassad styrning som bedöms vara relevant för Trafikverket – med hänsyn till Trafikverkets verksamhetslogik, utmaningar etc. I studien ska särskilt beaktas de särskilda förutsättningar som kan finnas för verksamhetsanpassad styrning inom myndigheter. Detta kan påverka valet av teorier som beskrivs.
Målet är att studien ska ge ökade kunskaper och insikter om de teoretiska grunderna för verksamhetsanpassad styrning. Resultatet från studien kommer till direkt användning i ett planerat verksamhetsutvecklingsprojekt ”Verksamhetsanpassad styrning”, som startar i januari 2017. Den förväntade nyttan av studien är – i förlängningen – att bidra till att ge ökade förutsättningar för en effektiv och ändamålsenlig styrning inom Trafikverket.Abstract: The study aims to describe the theory related to the area of integrated performance control that are deemed relevant to the Swedish Transport Administration – with regard to the Swedish Transport Administration's business logic, challenges etc. The study should in particular take into account the special conditions that may exist for integrated performance control in government agencies. This can affect the choice of the theories described. The goal is that the study will lead to increased knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations for activity suited governance. The results of the study will be to direct use in a planned business development project "Activity suited governance", which starts in January 2017. The expected benefit of the study is – by extension – to help provide increased opportunities for an effective and efficient management of the Swedish Transport Administration.
