Subject(s): Abstract: Projektet är en förstudie som avses att undersöka inom vilka ämnesområden det finns mest potential för att stödja transportslaget cykel på landsbygd, med visst fokus på norra Sverige. Fyra fokusområden är formulerade: 1) Förbättra vägledningar; 2) Utveckla kunskap om effekter av fysiska åtgärder; 3) Utveckla kunskap om effekter av mjuka åtgärder; 4) Utveckla arbetsmetoder och samarbetsformer. Resultatet är en kartläggning av olika aspekter som påverkar transportslaget cykel på landsbygd och även ett förslag på syntes av vilka aspekter som bedöms vara viktigast att utveckla och studera vidare för att stödja transportslaget cykel på landsbygd.Abstract: The project is a feasibility/pilot study which aims to investigate in which fields there is the most potential to support cycling as a mode of transport in rural areas, particular focus in areas in the north of Sweden. Four focus areas are formulated: 1) Improve guidelines; 2) Develop knowledge of the effects of physical measures; 3) Develop knowledge of the effects of soft measures; 4) develop working methods and forms of cooperation. The result is a survey of the different aspects that influence cycling as a mode of transport in rural areas and a synthesis of which aspects are considered to be instrumental to develop as well as study further to support cycling as a mode of transport in rural areas.
