Abstract: Projektet avser utveckla principer och metoder för att mäta, följa upp och förbättra tidtabellens robusthet. Robustheten har direkt påverkan på förseningarnas spridningseffekt och trafikens möjlighet för återhämtning. Centrala frågeställningar är:
- hur bedöma kvalitet i tidtabeller innan de tas i drift?
- vad är robusthet utifrån trafikplanerings, trafiklednings och järnvägsföretagens perspektiv?
- hur skapa och justera tidtabeller med hjälp av optimerande beräkningsstöd?Abstract: The project aims at development of principles and methods for measurement, supervising and improvement of timetable robustness. The robustness of the timetable directly influences the risk of upcoming and possibilities of recovering from disturbances. The key objectives are: - how to measure the quality of a timetable before it is implemented? - what is the robustness of the timetable for traffic planner, traffic dispatcher and railway undertakings? - how to construct and how to adjust a timetable through optimization?
