Subject(s): Abstract: Projektet syftar till att demonsterera en ny teknisk plattform som möjliggör ett spillvärmedrivet luftkonditioneringssystem, PureCool, för fartyg. I projektet kommer ett komplett skalbart prototypsystem att tas fram och testas och utvärderas under realistiska förhållanden. Abstract: The project aims to demonstrate a new technology platform that enables a waste heat driven air conditioning systems , Pure Cool, for ships. In the continuation of the project Alfa Laval plans together with Climate Well to develop a fully functioning prototype system based on the innovative technology platform developed in the first project phase, which builds on Alfa Laval’s heat transfer technologies in combination with ClimateWell’s patented absorption technology. The technology means that otherwise unutilized waste energy from the vessels drive train is used for cooling / heating the staff quarters.
