Subject(s): Online resources: Abstract: Flera studier har visat att förare är obenägna att anta ett mer ekonomiskt och energieffektivt körbeteende. Syftet med detta projekt är att bekräfta tidigare resultat som visar att tilltron till hur intelligent ett tekniskt system är påverkar individers förarbeteende. Projektet kommer att studera om det finns belägg för att utveckla en ny förklaringsmodell för varför vissa eco-driving kampanjer är mer framgångsrika än andra. För att studera detta genomförs i projektet ett antal simulatorstudier som jämför olika gränssnitt som är designade att upplevas olika intelligent. Detta för att påvisa att en förare kan uppmuntras till en mer energieffektiv körning ju mer intelligent föraren upplever systemet. Abstract: Several studies have shown that drivers are reluctant to adapt an eco-driving behaviour. The purpose of this project is to confirm previous results that the apparent intelligence of a system affect behaviour and thereby provides an explanation to why some eco-driving approaches are more successful then others. To address this, a series of simulator studies are performed to test different interfaces designed a/o appear more or less intelligent. This is performed to show that a driver can be encouraged to follow eco-driving according if the system is experienced as more intelligent. An important purpose is to create possibilities to make the current vehicle fleet more energy effective by 2-4 TW/h, a year, and achieve sustainable behavioural changes. This cooperation between Viktoria Swedish ICT and University of Skövde will strengthen the region and play an important role for the transportation sector.
