Abstract: På sikt ska denna forskning leda till inrättande av sådana avgiftssystem som minskar trängseln, ökar framkomligheten och förbättrar miljön utan att onödigtvis och i större omfattning begränsa individers mobilitetAbstract: Validation of new transport models recently developed at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. In addition to traditional aspect these models also model choice of time of departure. This will allow the new models to be used in projects that analyse the welfare effects of alternative road toll systems on various population categories.
The results will contribute to facilitate the design and implementation of road toll systems that alleviate congestion as well as negative environmental impacts of road traffic in cities without unnecessarily resticting moblility
