Subject(s): Abstract: Genom denna optimering, och baserat på samband mellan korgrörelser och åksjuka, förväntas passagerarna få mindre problem med åksjuka och okomfort generellt, och ändå behålla eller till och med förkorta restiden.Abstract: This research project is based on state of the art knowledge within motion sickness on tilting trains, including the licentiate thesis work by Persson (2008), and is focusing on an optimal choice of 1) train speed, 2) carbody tilt angle, and 3) carbody roll motion control. By this optimization, and based on relations between carbody motions and motion sickness, passengers should experience less risk for motion sickness and general discomfort, yet maintaining or even improving the travel time.
