Subject(s): Abstract: The project has the aim to contribute to solutions that reduces injuries/occurrence of multiple-event accidents, to benefit for 5-10% of all accidents. 1/4 of all accidents are multiple-event accidents. The envisioned overall result is a function definition of Post Impact Stability Control and knowledge how to take it further. This would result in significantly avoided or mitigate multiple event accidents. The project will contribute with scientific findings in the field of path control, driver behaviour and injury analysis. The planned work is divided into the following workpackage: Cause of 2nd event, Driver interaction, Function design, Verification of Post Impact Stability Control (PISC) strategies.
