Subject(s): Abstract: Avsikten med detta projekt är att vidareutveckla SCR-tekniken genom att ersätta urea med ammoniakgas som lagras i fast form. Tekniken medför att NOx-reduktion kan ske vid lägre avgastemperaturer, vilket minskar behovet av energikrävande temperaturhöjande åtgärder. Effekten blir lägre bränsleförbrukning och mindre påverkan på klimat och miljö. Syftet med projektet är att teknisk och kommersiellt förbereda tekniken för industrialisering, för både personbilar och kommersiella fordon.Abstract: The purpose of this project is to further develop the SCR technology by replacing urea with ammonia gas which is stored in solid form. The technique result in the NOx reduction may occur at lower exhaust temperatures, which reduces energy-consuming temperature raisings. This leads to lower fuel consumption and less impact on the environment. The purpose of the project is technical and commercial implementation of the ammonia SCR technology for both light-duty and heavy-duty applications.
