Abstract: Projektet syftar till att förbättra kunskapen inom följande områden för att bättre kunna utveckla el- och hybridfordon:
Start- och stoppfunktion för växellåda med dubbelkoppling, kompabilitet för dieselhybrid, integration av delsystem för elektrisk framdrivning med avseende på ljud och vibrationer , elektrisk fyrhjulsdrift och regenerativ bromsåtervinning, utvärdering av enmotorhybridarkitektur, 3 cyl. Turbo för förbättrad nedskalning,- människa-/ maskingränssnitt för hybrid- och elfordon.Abstract: Improved efficiency of transportation in terms of emission and fuel consumption. The project is a vital component that will allow GM Powertrain Sweden AB to maintain the newly gained status as HEV Integration Centre of Expertise in GM Europe. Main knowledge gaps identified are: Hybrid Powertrain controls. Addition of an electrical motor combined with an ICE is increasing the complexity for controlling the vehicle powertrain. Integration of new systems (e.g. electrical motors, rechargeable energy storage and HV power electronics) without impact to the Swedish high safety standards. Smooth and controllable transition from braking via the electric regeneration to the mechanical brakes (blended brakes) in all situations. Noise and vibration characteristics are altered and an additional layer of complexity is added by the electrical motors and HV power electronics. Deliverables are guidelines and know-how to allow for technology implementation / industrialization phase of HEV and EV.
