Abstract: Projektet avser att effektivisera produktionen av syntetisk naturgas (SNG) genom att ta fram kunskap för att kunna utveckla en enkel, robust och kostnadseffektiv teknik för att simultant avlägsna svavel ur och bryta ner tjära i produktgasen från biomassaförgasning. Projektet har hög grundforskningskvalitet och hög energirelevans.Abstract: The efficient cleaning of producer gas from gasification is the key for the efficient production of 2nd generation fuels biofuels such like dimethyl ester (DME), Fischer-Tropsch-diesel (FT-diesel) and substitute natural gas (SNG). As these synthesis processes are very sensible to tars and sulfur, a multi stage approach for cleaning is state of the art. However, present cleaning technologies are costly and energy intensive preventing the introduction of these techniques. Goal is the development of a low-cost, simple and reliable gas cleaning system that breaks down tars and removes simultaneously sulfur.
