Subject(s): Abstract: Projektet avser åtgärder för resurseffektivisering på en biogasanläggning som Scandinavian Biogas Fuels avser etablera i Upplandsregionen. Genom att använda ny teknik minskas rötrestvolymen med 80 %, samtidigt som behovet av färskvatten för processen reduceras med 75-100 %. Rötresthanteringen kan med den angivna tekniken innebära en inkomstkälla i framtiden. Sökande avser också att installera metanslipfri teknik genomgående i hela anläggningen, vilket ger anläggningen ytterligare kvaliteter som en demonstrationsanläggning.Abstract: SBF intends to establish a biogas plant in the Uppland region and the project applies for designing the plant more resource efficient. The project intends to introduce a novel technique where the digestate volume is reduced by 80 % and the need for fresh water is decreased by 75-100 %. A major bottleneck when establishing a new biogas plant is the digestate handling. Usage of the new combined dewatering and waste water cleaning technique expects to substantially improve the resource efficiency. The technique will additionally make sure that the nutrients are regained which will improve the value of the digestate used as fertilizer. The project also intends to construct a production plant where methane leakage is reduced to a minimum due to several novel measures.
