Subject(s): Abstract: Batteriet är den enskilt dyraste komponenten i ett hybridsystem, vars komplexitet ställer mycket höga krav på batteriövervakningssystemet (BMU). Om fördelningen av energi och effekt mellan förbränningsmotorn och det elektriska drivsystemet skall kunna ske optimalt, måste informationen från BMU vara korrekt. Projektets syftar därför till att bygga upp kompetens kring hur man designar en BMU.Abstract: The battery is the single most expensive component in a hybrid system, whose complexity will be a challenging demand for the battery management unit (BMU). The purpose of the project is therefore to build competence around the design of the BMU. The project consists of the following activities: - literature study - system design and functionality for the battery management system. - algorithm development for real time estimation of SOC (State Of Charge), SOH (State Of Health) and SOP (State Of Power), Diagnosis and development of battery models. - system realisation and evaluation: A demonstrator is built and tested to verify the algorithms and functionality of the battery management system.
