Subject(s): Abstract: Referat saknas.Abstract: Many services in this area require the use of sub-services and the cooperation between public and commercial actors. Some traditional public provided services can potentially be delivered by the market. Hence this sub-task will explore different options of business models of how actors can provide services. This work should also include consideration of Green transport corridor initiatives, i.e. what is a potential business model in corridors. Possibilities and hindrances due to technology and information security aspects need to be investigated. Traffic information is normally collected by the authority in cooperation with other stakeholders. The information is used both by the public and the commercial sector and is made available to be used in different traffic information services. The public sector supports the development and creation of information platforms and cooperation to enable the spread of information in a multimodal and cost effective way. In order to provide an attractive service it is vital to have access to a cost effective and qualitative provision of traffic information. The costs to gather and provide quality assured information from different complex systems increase when different stakeholders are involved. It is therefore fundamental to establish cooperation between public and commercial actors in order to increase the accessibility to cost effective traffic information by developing and stimulating an attractive business opportunities environment to be able to bring forward a greater number of services to the market. This sub-activity will recommend different options to consider when establishing a sustainable business relation with respect to data collection and the exchange of data between the public and commercial sector along vital transport corridors passing through several countries. Also, to recommend a business contract concerning the provision of data and the spread of information to travellers within the corridor and what the benefits are for the different actors to join such a business cooperation. What are the fruitful prerequisites required to establish cooperation and hereby increase the legal understanding and the need of well functioning business logic. The sub-activity will recommend a practical approach to establish a commercial market place for dynamic traffic information by identifying the required actors. Issues to be considered are content of a contract, distribution of responsibility, level of service etc.
